Listen to the trees

»Trees are sanctuaries. Whoever knows how to speak to them, whoever knows how to listen to them, can learn the truth. They do not preach learning and precepts, they preach undeterred by particulars, the ancient law of life«.
 - Hermann Hesse

»On the last day of the world I would want to plant a tree«.

  1. Beautiful, Mona. I would want to plant a tree too and if I had time, a small garden.
    Love to you.

  2. Beautiful images. I love that mossy tree with all the shelf fungi, and the log with star pattern. Planting a tree - that would be a good way to go out of this world, too. I want to have acorns planted on top of my grave so that my body will be compost for the roots. I read somewhere that roots will follow the form of the body and become like you under the earth. How cool is that?

  3. Majestic photos... my philosophy is the same.
