Learning a lesson

My garden plans went totally wrong this year. Well, not the plans, but more my ability to realise them. I simply couldn't find the time to make it happen - and at a certain point (the point, where all things green explodes in late spring) it was too late to change the way of nature. I've spent a lot of time being vexed with myself, really vexed, but for the last couple of weeks, I've sort of come to terms with myself. I believe, that Mother Nature is giving me a lesson. For lo and behold my garden now - it's covered in beautiful flowers, many of them being a favourite of mine - Boragos! And whats more: also a favourite of the honey bees. I'm sharing a little bit of the beauty with you, and there's so much more!

  1. Lovely light in the photos. And, yes... here, too! I never got to weeding one bed, decided the other day I might as well give up. Its wild and full of grass, but also lots of wild asters and St. John's wort and other such things. So, maybe next year!
And I love borage - what I know it as.

  2. Beautiful : ) I get to a point most years where I kind of relax and stop fighting the growing tide of 'weeds'!

  3. Mona, these photos are so beautiful. The quality of the light is so lovely. My garden is way behind this year..too much rain in the spring and the weeds are taking over as well.
I love the quote you put up there. Thank you.
