Crafting the Colour Wheel - IX

I thought I'd better show you the September project, even though I haven't shown you all of the previous months crafting projects. But since it's still september I thought it'd be quite appropriate. Not a ring this time - but another piece of jewelry.

It's really interesting how the given colours makes me make things I wouldn't have made otherwise, if it wasn't for this self applied challenge. A bit of blue wool, some golden embroidery yarn and a couple of handmade wooden pearls sort of stuck out of my crafting cupboard when looking for materials for this months project.

I can't really put my finger on it, but it like there's a sort of ancient feeling about this necklace - what do you think?

  1. Hvor er det smukt! Jeg er vildt duperet over, hvordan du fletter naturen ind i dine smykker. Det er så fint.

  3. No, it's wood. A friend of mine carved it by hand. He says it's some kind of plum tree. (the horse chestnuts in the first picture just happend to be there when taking the picture ;)
