Ēastre

Simple traditions related to the seasons is my thing. Easter and spring symbolised with the eggs that we collect from the chickens right now in such abundant amounts. Nests, eggs and flowers. Playing 'trille æg' (twirling eggs) for chocolate eggs. Looking for gifts from the easter bunny hidden somewhere in the garden (which in these parts of the world actually isn't a bunny, but an egg laying hare) and painting goose eggs.

Ending the day with a favourite activity - making a bonfire. I went to bed yesterday with a wonderful feeling of contentment, my limbs feeling so heavy I could hardly drag myself to bed. That's how it should be, isn't it?
